▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
