Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion of the Universe, and Who has power over everything; 1 [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving - 2 Who created the seven heavens one above another; you see no incongruity in the creation of the Beneficent Allah; then look again, can you see any disorder? 3 Then turn back the eye again and again; your look shall come back to you confused while it is fatigued. 4 We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and We have made them for driving away devils. For them We have prepared the punishment of the blazing Fire. 5 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there is the doom of hell, a hapless journey's end! 6 When they are cast into it they shall hear it sighing, while it boils 7 It almost explodes in rage. Whenever a group is thrown into it, its keepers will ask them, "Did no one come to warn you?" 8 They say, 'Yes indeed, a warner came to us; but we cried lies, saying, "God has not sent down anything; you are only in great error. 9 And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze." 10 So they shall confess their sin. Far away they be, the fellows of the Blaze! 11 Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward. 12 (Whether you) speak in secret or aloud, He knows the innermost of the chests. 13 Can He who has created not know (His creation)? He is all-penetrating, all-aware. 14
