For, behold, it is the God-conscious [alone] whom gardens of bliss await with their Sustainer: 34 What, shall we make those who have surrendered like to the sinners? 35 What ails you? How ill you judge! 36 Or have ye a scripture wherein ye learn 37 Surely therein you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand? 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able, 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 46 Do they possess the knowledge of the unseen which confirms the truthfulness of their belief? 47 Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed. 48 Had not a Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We forgave him), so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 When those who deny the truth hear the admonition, they would almost cause you to stumble with their evil eyes; and they say, "He is certainly mad." 51 But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds. 52
