Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I swear by that which ye see. 38 And what ye see not, 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
