Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And what ye see not, 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
