Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
