But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And that which you do not see. 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
