Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 Does every man among them aspire to be admitted into the Garden of serenity? 38 By no means! verily We! We have created them from that which they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!- 42 the day they shall come forth from the tombs hastily, as if they were hurrying unto a waymark, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
