Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2
What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 No! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and Wests, surely We are able 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 So let them chat and play until they meet their Day which they are promised, 42 The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. 43 their eyes are humbled and they are covered with humiliation. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
