Nay! By the moon 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning to mankind, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 about the sinners. 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
