Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ I CALL TO WITNESS the Day of Resurrection, 1 and by the self-reproaching soul! 2 What, does man reckon We shall not gather his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips. 4 Nay, but man desires to continue on as a libertine, 5 He asks: "When will the Day of Resurrection be?" 6 So when the sight becomes dazed, 7 And the moon is buried in darkness. 8 And sun and moon are united, 9 on that Day the human will ask: 'To (which place) shall I flee' 10 Alas! No refuge! 11 on that Day, to your Lord alone is the recourse. 12 Upon that day man shall be told his former deeds and his latter; 13 nay, man shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 Although he tender his excuses. 15 Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. 16 We Ourself shall see to its collection and recital. 17 And so when We recite it, follow its recitation attentively; 18 We shall be responsible for its explanation. 19 No! But you love the immediate 20 And leave alone the Hereafter. 21 Some faces on that Day will be fresh and resplendent, 22 looking towards their Lord; 23 and some faces will on that Day be gloomy, 24 certain of facing a great calamity. 25 Nay! When it comes up to the throat, 26 and it is said: “Is there any enchanter who can step forward and help (by his chanting)?” 27 the while he [himself] knows that this is the parting, 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 That Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord! 30

Click or tap the small triangles above and below the frame on the left to display the Juz Table of Contents where you can go to any Juz, Hizb, ¾, ½, ¼, or any page within.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
