Verily We! it is We Who have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation. 23 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]. 24 Remember the name of thy Lord at morn and evening. 25 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). 26 These people (disbelievers) love the worldly life and neglect the terrifying day which will come. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 Lo! this is an Admonishment, that whosoever will may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He admits to His Mercy whomsoever He pleases. As for the wrong-doers, He has prepared for them a grievous chastisement. 31
