Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 till a known term decreed? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 as black camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
