Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 But how are you to know? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
