[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
