▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
