What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 But how are you to know? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
