[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 then he who transgressed 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
