He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ HE FROWNED AND turned away, 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 And what should teach thee? Perchance he would cleanse him, 3 or take heed and derive benefit from [Our] warning? 4 For him who does not care, 5 To him you give attention. 6 Yet it is not thy concern if he grow not (in grace). 7 As for the one who comes to you earnestly (striving for guidance). 8 and who has fear of God, 9 Of him wast thou unmindful. 10 These verses are a reminder 11 and so, whoever is willing may remember Him 12 Inscribed in Writs honoured, 13 lofty and pure, 14 borne by the hands of scribes, 15 noble and pious. 16 Woe to man! What hath made him reject Allah; 17 Of what thing hath He created him? 18 From a (sperm) drop He created him and then determined him, 19 and then made the course of life easy for him, 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 Then when He listeth, He shall raise him to life. 22 Nay; but he has not done what He bade him. 23 Then let man look at his food, 24 That We watered it in abundance. 25 And We split the earth in fragments, 26 And cause the grain to grow therein 27 And grapes and fodder, 28 and olive trees and date-palms, 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 and fruits and herbage, 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 But when the Shout cometh 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 mother, father, 35 And his spouse and his son-- 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 Some faces on that day shall shine 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 And faces on that Day! upon them shall be gloom. 40 and veiled with darkness. 41 They will be the unbelievers, transgressors. 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
