He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 How canst thou know, whether haply he might be cleansed, 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 As for he who thinks himself without need, 5 So you are after him! 6 although it is not for you to be concerned if he remained unpurified. 7 As for the one who comes to you earnestly (striving for guidance). 8 And whereas he fears, 9 to him thou payest no heed. 10 Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 (It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 13 Exalted, Purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 Honourable and obedient. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 Of what substance God created him? 18 From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him; 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 Then He caused him to die and be buried 21 Then, when He willed, He brought him out. (As during the night of Holy Prophet’s ascension, when all the Prophets gathered behind him in the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Or when Allah will raise everyone on the Day of Resurrection.) 22 By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. 23 Let Man consider his nourishment. 24 We poured down rain abundantly, 25 Then We split the earth properly. 26 And We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 olives, dates, 29 and dense orchards, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 Then when cometh the Deafening Cry 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 And his spouse and his son-- 36 for on that day everyone will be completely engrossed in his own concerns. 37 Some faces on that day will be radiant, 38 and be cheerful and joyous. 39 And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained; 40 with darkness overspread: 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
