He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 or have been reminded [of the truth,] and helped by this reminder. 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 you attended to him, 6 And no blame is on you if he would not purify himself 7 But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge] 8 and fearfully, 9 So you leave him, and are engrossed elsewhere! 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 so let those who want to follow its guidance do so. 12 (It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour, 13 exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 Noble and pious. 16 Perish man! how ungrateful he is! 17 Of what [stuff] has He created him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm! He creates and proportions him, 19 Then (as for) the way-- He has made it easy (for him) 20 Then He causes him to die and be buried. 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again). 22 But no. He has not fulfilled what was enjoined on him. 23 Then let man look at his food, 24 [how it is] that We pour down water, pouring it down abundantly; 25 and cleaved the earth, cleaving it asunder; 26 And cause the grain to grow therein 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 And Olives and Dates, 29 And gardens of dense shrubbery 30 and fruit and pastures, 31 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 32 And when the Blast shall sound, 33 on the Day when each man shall flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father, 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 for on that day everyone will be completely engrossed in his own concerns. 37 Some faces will shine, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 but some faces will be covered with dust 40 and covered by darkness. 41 Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
