The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 The wild beasts stampede on the run, 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 and when paradise is brought into view: 13 [on that Day] every human being will come to know what he has prepared [for himself]. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 that hide, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, 19 Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Lord of the Universe, so wills it [to show you that way]. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
