The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 when the savage beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when the Garden is brought near;- 13 then shall a soul know what it has produced. 14 So, I call the receding stars to witness, 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 and the night that falls, 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 Verily this is the word of a noble message-bearer; 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 Your companion is not possessed; 22 And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 This is merely a reminder to all mankind; 27 for whosoever of you would go straight, 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
