The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 When the stars fall, losing their lustre; 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 the heavens are unveiled, 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 So, I call the receding stars to witness, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 and by the night as it recedes, 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 Though you cannot desire except as God will, the Lord of all the worlds. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
