Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
