Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
