The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe to the stinters who, 1 Those who, when they take by measure from mankind, exact the full, 2 but when they measure or weigh, give less. 3 Do they not realize that they will be resurrected 4 Unto an Awful Day, 5 The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)? 6 Nay! most surely the record of the wicked is in the Sijjin. 7 and what shall teach thee what is Sijjin? 8 It is a Book inscribed. 9 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies, 10 those who give the lie to the [coming of] Judgment Day: 11 None belies it except every guilty sinner. 12 When Our revelations are conveyed to him, he says, "Fables of the ancients!" 13 No! Their own deeds have cast a veil over their hearts. 14 No indeed! On that Day they will be screened off from seeing their Lord, 15 Then they will indeed burn in Hell. 16 and be told: "This is the [very thing] to which you were wont to give the lie!" 17 No indeed; the book of the pious is in Illiyun; 18 What could let you know what the 'Illiyoon is! 19 a written record, 20 The ones nearest to God will bring it to public. 21 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous will indeed be in bliss: 22 On thrones, looking (at all things). 23 upon their faces thou wilt see the brightness of bliss. 24 Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed: 25 its seal will be of musk -- for this let the aspirants aspire -- 26 a wine whose mixture is Tasnim, 27 a fountain at which the chosen ones shall drink. 28 Surely they who are guilty used to laugh at those who believe. 29 and whenever they pass by them, they wink at one another [derisively]; 30 And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; 31 And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray. 32 But they had not been sent as guardians over them. 33 So today those who believe shall laugh at the unbelievers; 34 On thrones, they will look. 35 Did not the disbelievers get repaid for what they used to do? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
