The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to the diminishers, 1 those who demand a full measure from others 2 But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss. 3 Do they not know that they are bound to be raised from the dead 4 (To be raised) for a Great Day? 5 when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin - 7 What could let you know what the Sijjeen is! 8 A record [indelibly] inscribed! 9 Woe, on that day, to those who have rejected God's revelations 10 Who call the Day of judgement a lie! 11 And none will deny it, except every transgressor, rebel. 12 And when Our revelations are rehearsed unto him, he saith: fables of the ancients! 13 They will never have faith. In fact, their hearts are stained from their deeds. 14 Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled. 15 and then, behold, they shall enter the blazing fire 16 and it will be said to them: 'This is that which you belied' 17 By no means! Verily the record of the virtuous shall be in 'Illiyun. 18 And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun? 19 It is a comprehensively written Book (of records). 20 Witnessed by those who are honoured. 21 Verily, Al-Abrar (the pious who fear Allah and avoid evil) will be in delight (Paradise). 22 Reclining on couches, looking on. 23 On their faces you will see the glow of beatitude. 24 They will be given a drink of pure wine, sealed, 25 Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss - 26 With it will be (given) a mixture of Tasnim: 27 a source [of bliss] whereof those who are drawn close unto God shall drink. 28 Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances. 30 And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting. 31 On seeing the believers, they would say, "These people have gone astray". 32 And they were not sent to be keepers over them. 33 So today those who believe shall laugh at the unbelievers; 34 as they sit on couches, gazing around. 35 Surely the disbelievers are rewarded as they did. 36
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
