The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 By the Promised Day! 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they were sitting near it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
