The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And by the Day promised, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 but all the while God encompasses them [with His knowledge and might] without their being aware of it. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
