The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 while they sat around it, 6 And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie: 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
