The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sky containing great stars 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
