The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
