The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 And the promised day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
