The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
