The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created. 5 He is created from a gushing fluid 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 By the heaven which returneth, 11 and by the earth bursting with vegetation; 12 Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing. 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 They are devising a guile, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile). 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
