Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 Let man reflect on what he was created from. 5 He was created of spurting water 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement, 13 And it is no joke. 14 They are cunningly devising, 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.
