The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
