The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
