The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
