The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I CALL THE night to witness when it covers over, 1 by the day when it appears radiant, 2 And Him Who hath created male and female, 3 O men, you truly strive towards the most diverse ends! 4 Then as for him who gives away and guards (against evil), 5 and confirms the reward most fair, 6 So We will very soon provide him ease. 7 but for him that is a miser, and sufficed, 8 And gives the lie to the best,- 9 Surely We will ease his way unto adversity. 10 Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit). 11 Indeed guiding is upon Us. 12 And verify Ours is both the Hereafter and the life present. 13 Therefor have I warned you of the flaming Fire 14 where none shall burn except the most wicked, 15 Who gives the lie (to the truth) and turns (his) back. 16 And avoid it shall the most pious, 17 one who gives his wealth to become purified, 18 and confers no favour on any man for recompense, 19 But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High. 20 Will surely be gratified. 21
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
