Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the morning brightness 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
