Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
