The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
