Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
