The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
