Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8
Almighty God's Truth.
