In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Read with the name of your Lord Who created, 1 Created man from a clot. 2 Recite! Your Lord is the most Honorable One, 3 Who hath taught mankind by the pen 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 Nay, but verily man is rebellious 6 Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 7 for, behold, unto thy Sustainer all must return. 8 Have you seen the one who forbids 9 a worshipper from praying? 10 Did you consider: what if he is on the Right Way, 11 Or enjoins piety? 12 Hast thou seen if he denieth (Allah's guidance) and is froward? 13 Does he not realize that God sees him? 14 Let him beware! If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock -- 15 The lying, sinful forelock - 16 So let him call on his concourse! 17 We shall call on the guards of Hell. 18 (Muhammad), never yield to him! Prostrate yourself and try to come closer to God. ۩ 19
