The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man saith: what aileth her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
