The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
